Poppyscotland
Poppyscotland supports veterans and their families living in Scotland.
We do this through direct financial assistance to individuals, funding advice
services, providing grants and research for specialist veterans’ organisations and supporting the employment of veterans with disabilities.
The annual Scottish Poppy Appeal is our largest fundraising event. We also raise money through corporate partnerships, participation events, donations, legacies and trusts. We can only do this thanks to the dedication of our supporters.
It is a common misconception that the numbers of veterans in need of support are decreasing. It is, in fact, quite the opposite. Poppyscotland is helping more people now than ever before.
Recent research showed that 350,000 members of the veterans’ community have experienced some form of personal difficulty, such as mobility or financial problems
We do practical things to make a practical difference to people’s lives. However, with more funds, we could do much more.
