About us
A unit of the Royal Artillery, we are known as the Scottish Gunners – and we are trained to deliver a vast amount of the Army's firepower in support of Infantry, armoured and air operations. We are based in Glasgow with a Troop in Edinburgh
We provide single and full gun groups to Regular Strike Regiments based in the UK and Germany, as well as Army Operations all over the world. It’s a role that requires diverse skills, quick thinking and highly effective teamwork. Training with us as a TA soldier or officer, you’ll achieve the fitness of your life and learn to use a wide range of the latest weapons and communications equipment.
We also train signalers, mechanics, logisticians, chefs, clerks, drivers… and much more. So if you want a fantastic opportunity to improve yourself, make great friends and take part in extremely varied adventure training activities at home and abroad – get in touch with the Scottish Gunners.
