About Us

The role of volunteers within the Royal Military Police Territorial Army is the same as their Regular Army counterparts: to provide military police support to the Army on operations. 243 Provost Company are the only RMP Company in Scotland. We also have a platoon detachment in Lisburn NI.

Roles

As a volunteer Royal Military Policeman or woman you will be trained to undertake a variety of roles in addition to the normal military skills required of a Territorial Army officer or soldier. We are actively recruiting fit, motivated and self disciplned individuals who preferably have a driving licence. Due to the nature of our work a Police National Computer check is carried out on all applicants.

Training

We train on a Wednesday night between 7.30 - 9.30.  Initially, just give us a call to speak to the recruiting team to sort out a time to visit us and see what it is all about. Give us a call you never know the Territoirial Army Royal Military Police might be for you!!
