On Thursday 28 April, abrdn reaffirmed their commitment to the Defence community by signing the Armed Forces Covenant.

Over the years abrdn (formally Standard Life/Standard Life Aberdeen) has partnered with Defence to ensure members of the Armed Forces community thrive in both their military and civilian lives.

Over the years abrdn (formally Standard Life/Standard Life Aberdeen) has partnered with Defence to ensure members of the Armed Forces community thrive in both their military and civilian lives.
One notable example was when the company established a website which was dedicated to helping members of the Armed Forces manage their finances.
Additionally, the organisation has hosted multiple events at their headquarters in Edinburgh, including an excellent evening which explored the transferable skills between the military and civilian worlds.
The Armed Forces Covenant was signed in the abrdn Board Room by Richard Charnock (abrdn Chief Executive Officer – Discretionary) and Major General WSC Wright CBE (General Officer Scotland).
abrdn sets a fantastic example of committed and creative support to Service Personnel, Reservists and Cadets.
