The Lord-Lieutenants’ Certificates of Meritorious Service are presented annually to Reservists, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) and employees of the Reserve Forces and Cadet Organisations, and are recognised as coveted honours throughout the Ministry of Defence.
The Lord-Lieutenants’ Awards are an acknowledgement of dedicated and valuable service. As well as public recognition, the certificates are much appreciated and valued by the individuals who receive them.
Lord-Lieutenants, who are regional representatives for HM The King, present recipients with their Certificates at various award ceremonies throughout the Lowlands of Scotland.
