The Lord-Lieutenants’ Certificates of Meritorious Service are presented annually to Reservists, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) and Ministry of Defence civil servants, and are recognised as highly esteemed honours throughout the Armed Forces Community.
The Lord-Lieutenants’ Awards are an acknowledgement of dedication, diligence and drive throughout a recipient’s service. Along with public recognition, the certificates are greatly valued by the individuals who receive them.
The Lord-Lieutenants, who serve as regional representatives for HM The King, present recipients with their Certificates at award ceremonies throughout the Lowlands of Scotland. This gives the worthy winners a chance to publicly celebrate this great achievement with their families, colleagues and employers.
