Royal Gun Salute at Stirling Castle

On Saturday a Royal Gun Salute took place at Stirling Castle to mark HM The Queen’s 92nd Birthday.

Susan Deacon CBE– Chair of the Institute of Directors in Scotland and the Scottish Police Authority – and employers from across Scotland joined us at this event. As well as speaking to the Reservists from 212 (Highland) Battery Royal Artillery and Officer Cadets from Tayforth UOTC conducting the 21-Gun Salute, guests spoke with Army, Air and Sea Cadets about how they are gaining qualifications, capability and confidence that employers are looking for.

Lowland RFCA engages with employers across Scotland to help them to support reservists. If you’re an employer and want to support the UK’s Armed Forces Reserves please get in touch with us.
